Friendly and Helpful Staff
We had a fantastic stay at this resort and were amazed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. When we arrived, exhausted from a long journey, they went out of their way to accommodate us and make us feel welcome. The rooms were of a fantastic standard, with a great terrace area outside for enjoying the beautiful views. The modern shower was a welcome relief after a tiring trip. Though the restaurant had moderately priced food, the quality was excellent and the location was breathtaking. We did notice a large ship nearby, but personally, we found it added to the unique charm of the place. The secure 24-hour parking for our bike was also greatly appreciated. I highly recommend this hotel for its friendly staff, comfortable rooms, and beautiful location.

Lan Rung is fantatic. A wonderful property right on the ocean, although much of it is rocky. But there is a small section of beach that is usable. The property itself is 5 star. The service is great, even though the only speak Vietnamese, but it is Vietnam so that is what I expect. The food is very good, although what I thought I ordered was not exactly what I got. Portions are relatively small. I would return there, and would recommend to others, if for nothing more than the first class accomodations. .
I did not like it that they wanted to hold my passport for my entire stay. Maybe guests leave and don't pay their bills. I had a bad experience in China where they held my passport, and I ended up at the airport with no passport, since they forgot to return it and i forgot to ask for it. I would propose that they allow you to pay your bill upfront, and then give the passport back.

Attention to details, such as flowers in the room. Nice territory, although a bit overdecorated.
All the bathroom equipment didn't function well. The restaurant was worse then the cheaper one nearby. Quite far from other parts of the peninsula, near the empty plot of land (although you have to use a taxi anyway in Vung Tau). Very dirty sea (although it's not hotel's fault, but it is totally no good for beach rest)

Located right on the beach down the hill, this hotel boasts a clean swimming pool and spacious rooms with nice tall ceilings. the rooms are cleaned and replenished daily, making it comfortable. the breakfast buffet is also quite large with many delicious options on the menu.
The staff at the hotel don't speak much English, making it difficult to get menu advice.

The whole resort was lovely and very well maintained and of a high standard. We loved staying here and really enjoyed the pool area and looking out across the sea being right on the Ocean front. The retaurant breakfasts included were very good and the Seafood restaurant dinners were exceptional. The service in the retaurant and the quality of the food just brilliant. The rooms are very elegant European style Villas which are very new and have great facilities. This resort is very good value for money and a must!
The staff knew very little english so it could be challenging to order snacks and drinks but there was a senior supervisor in each area who can assist where you need. This is not really a fault of the hotel, it is common in all of Vietnam as there is little English taught there. But something to be aware of.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious hotel and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. The location is absolutely perfect, with the beach just a stone's throw away. The convenience of being able to relax on the beach and then easily return to the hotel for a refreshing swim in the pool is unmatched. The staff at this place were extremely friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure my comfort throughout my stay. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel like a valued guest, providing excellent service and assistance whenever I needed it. The room itself was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a balcony that offered breathtaking views. The bed was incredibly comfortable, which allowed me to get a great night's sleep. The breakfast offered here was also superb, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from.
This hotel is an ideal choice for families looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay. The amenities and facilities here are perfect for families of all sizes and age groups.

Had a great time with my family. We were able to get a lovely room with free wifi and fridge without reservation. the key location was amazing and food was tasty. We enjoyed the seafood, massive range of pizza, and array of other dishes. the staff was friendly and accommodating, and massages were offered.
The hotel had some negative aspects too. the room floor was not clean which was a downside.
